Growing Up Artfully 2014 will be held in Rotary Park, on the Flint Cultural Center Campus
Thursday, June 5 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.
This is your chance to support outreach and education while experiencing the elegance, splendor, and extravagance of 1920s America. You do not need a date to attend, so join us on your own or with friends for a magical night of music, dining, dancing and the transformation of Rotary Park into a 1920s Garden Party – completed by the addition of period automobiles and entertainment! We’ve brought the event back to campus to celebrate the 10 years of Growing Up Artfully. Having the event on campus will enable attendees to better see where their funds have been spent and allow us to bring some of our 1920s “antiques” out of the museum onto the grounds!
Proceeds from this event enhance accessibility for underserved families and youth in Genesee County and beyond to programs provided by our member organizations – Longway Planetarium, Sloan Museum and The Whiting. Over the years, this event has supported over 20,000 families and youth!
We look forward to seeing you on June 5th. Remember you are invited to wear your best 1920s attire and don't forget your dancing shoes!
