FYT productions are presented in its two distinct venues - Bower Theater and the intimate Elgood Theater located in the William S. White and Claire M. White Center. On the FYT stage you'll see the faces of professional artists and students from our community, sharing a wide variety of stories and lives worth remembering through productions designed to dazzle your eye, to make you smile or shed a tear, to make you think and feel and to challenge you with new ideas.

Nationally recognized and award-wining professional theatre productions are created right here in our community by Flint Youth Theatre (FYT). But don't let the word youth fool you – FYT's unique productions are as enjoyable for adults as they are for young people. Whether you're young – or simply young at heart – you'll find FYT events filled with the excitement and energy only live theatre can provide. 
FYT's Drama School helps area students develop their spirits and imaginations, as well as their acting technique. Students are encouraged to be original, express themselves and have fun. In the process, they gain valuable life skills like confidence, creative problem solving and teamwork, helping them face the challenges of becoming responsible young people.
