Volunteers are vital members of our team. Currently, nearly 300 volunteers serve the Cultural Center annually. We match volunteers with their interests and time constraints and many volunteers choose to be involved in multiple areas at special events or an on-going basis. To be a volunteer, you must be at least 14 years of age or older and training is provided.

Volunteers contribute their time in multiple ways, including:
• Welcoming school and scout groups
• Greeting visitors
• Ushering theater patrons to their seats
• Explaining an exhibit or an experiment
• Staffing a children's activity table at a special event
• Creating or updating a database
• Serving as parking lot attendants
• Planting and maintaining campus gardens
